Superb solid walnut and walnut veneer set in burl, carved in high relief with lilac branches. The desk opens with three drawers in the belt, two doors on the boxes, two side pulls and has a protective glass on the top. The interior is fitted with compartmentalized drawers on the right-hand side and a shelf on the left-hand side. The chair is large and solid, and is covered in brown leather. We have the entire cabinet and the correspondence between the commissioner of the furniture and Justin Ferez. This unique piece of furniture was commissioned in 1904 and won a prize at the International Exhibition of Eastern France in Nancy in 1909.
