A superb display cabinet in solid walnut and Rio rosewood veneer, molded, carved, and inlaid with a clematis motif. It opens with three doors and, to the side, two tiered niches. The cornice is curved and carved in the round with foliage and flowers. It rests on saber legs connected by ribbed stretchers with vegetal motifs, and features gilt bronze keyhole escutcheons and keys. The interior, veneered in maple burl, is fitted with two glass shelves and a top shelf. Stamped on the right front panel. A truly exceptional piece of cabinetmaking!
