A very rare Japanese-style vase in pinkish glass, spherical in shape flattened at six points, with a trilobed neck that was elongated and pinched while hot. Superb cameo-etched decoration, painted with polychrome enamels and highlighted with gold, depicting a dragon, stylized branches, and three flowers adorned with central cabochons applied while hot, against a starry, frosted background. Magnificent quality of workmanship, circa 1892.
