A rare opal glass pitcher, marbled orange and white, with a cylindrical base that is slightly flared and hot-drawn to form the spout. It rests on a foot and has a hot-applied handle. The decoration is very finely etched in delicate reserves using acid and painted with polychrome enamels. Cameo signature. A beautiful, luminous effect!
