A rare revolving bookcase in molded, carved, and openwork solid beechwood decorated with poppies. It rests on four cabriole legs and features a rotating cabinet divided into four compartments with openwork panels, and a top supported by uprights carved with spirals of poppy bulbs. The upper shelf is inlaid with a design on a mahogany and rosewood ground, while the middle shelf features a flower on a walnut ground. Beautiful patina!
