A beautiful writing table in molded and carved solid walnut. It opens with a trompe-l'œil drawer in the apron, the top features a marquetry design of chestnut leaves, and it rests on four trapezoidal legs carved with spirals. The top has overhanging edges to accommodate a protective glass top, and it has a very attractive waxed finish.
