A display shelf in solid mahogany, molded and carved, forming a music box. The upper frieze and two side panels feature marquetry of poppies and butterflies. It opens with a trompe-l'œil drawer, two vertical niches, and a compartmentalized music box in the lower section. The sides of the upper shelf are rounded, and the uprights and lower rails are ribbed and carved. Beautiful craftsmanship and a superb patina!
