A superb display cabinet in solid walnut and satinwood mahogany veneer, molded and carved with stylized foliage and hawthorn blossoms. It opens in the center with a glazed door with a paneled lower section featuring marquetry with a carnation motif, and to the sides with two drawers and two tiered niches, each with three projecting shelves with scalloped edges. The front uprights are carved with spirals, the side shelves and top rail are rounded, and it has corner legs. The interior is fitted with three glass shelves and a storage compartment in the lower section. It features gilt bronze handles and keys, beveled glass, and a marquetry stamp. The cabinet is of very high quality and in perfect original condition.
