Spectacular pedestal table in molded and very finely carved solid walnut. Curved base depicting three giant dragonflies with outstretched wings supporting two trays. The upper top is multi-lobed and carved in high relief with floral motifs, it has an inlaid decoration of marsh calthas and a dragonfly in flight. The trilobed spacer tray is decorated with water lilies. Rare and emblematic model which was presented during the 1900 Universal Exhibition in Paris. Museum furniture in impeccable condition!
