A superb buffet in solid walnut and rosewood veneer, decorated with high-relief carving of chicory leaves. It features two doors in the lower section, two drawers in the frieze, a large niche with a marquetry back of ginkgo leaves, and two glazed doors in the upper section. The uprights have detached columns, and the handles, keyhole escutcheons, and keys are in gilt bronze. The cabinetmaking is of very high quality.
