Description
A rare bronze inkwell with a golden-brown patina, depicting a pensive young woman writing, and an owl with a removable head forming a container. The owl has sulfide eyes, the young woman's headdress is adorned with three red cabochons, and a diamond is set into the drapery. The craftsmanship is of fine quality.
