Description
A rare ovoid vase with a shouldered body, pinched neck, and quatrefoil in double-walled glass. The decoration, engraved in fine reserves using acid and painted with polychrome enamels, depicts freesia flowers on a marbled ground treated with yellow, orange, and mauve powders. Signed and dated in cameo.
