Description
A handsome cabinet with an asymmetrical frame, crafted from mahogany and satin mahogany veneer. It opens with a marquetry door featuring ears of wheat and a poppy against a background of rustic ash, revealing four niches and a compartmentalized section for sheet music. The upper shelf on the right is rounded and extends beyond the edge, supported by a spirally carved upright. The sides are openwork and fitted with carved columns, while the lower section features a sloping crossbar with scalloped edges. Original gilt bronze key, hot-stamped hallmark, and a beautiful waxed finish complete the piece.
