Description
A rare collector's display cabinet in molded and carved solid walnut with an elderberry motif. The lower section is deeply curved and features a drawer, a paneled door, and a niche, resting on projecting angled legs. The cabinet is supported at the front by arched uprights and has a curved cornice. It opens with a door to reveal a glass shelf and a mirrored back. Gilt bronze handles and pendant keyhole escutcheons, beveled glass, and panels with flat, elongated bands complete the look. Superb quality of cabinetmaking and a beautiful waxed finish.
